Digital dry bath incubator with a interchangeable blocks offer a range of configurations that can significantly increase lab diversity. The wide temperature range of up to 150°C means that digital dry baths can be used for a variety scientific applications including blood banking, pre warming technique, warming reagents, PCR, heating tubes and environmental laboratories. Dry baths are  better when compared to conventional analogue models, they feature a built in sophisticated temperature processor and they have an easy to read and easy to use controlled setting and internal temperature display.

Digital dry bath incubator are designed to be used in both basic and advanced applications. They have a maximum temperature of 150°C, an accurate timer, and they are available in blocks of single, double or four block.

The inbuilt processor in these dry baths regulates the wattage of the heat block to provide extremely accurate temperature and precession. The desired temperature is easily set using the easy to read display and the simple to use arrow keys, which are set on the angled control panel at the front of the equipment.

The interface completely removes the need for repeated fine tuning of the type that is required with analogue models. It eliminates the need for the use of external thermometers. This extra feature and lack of any need for continuous readjustments can significantly increase efficiency and improve laboratory productivity. The user simply enters the required temperature on the digital keypad and the microprocessor in the dry bath will control the temperature of the heat block to an accuracy of ±0.2°C. In addition to this, there is a digital timer built into the display. The timer is not designed to automatically shut off the heater; it will provide an audible and visual alert to the user when the given time period has expired. Overall, a digital dry bath incubator provides far greater accuracy and control than an analogue model would, as well as far greater ease of use.

The heat block is manufactured from high grade aluminium and the cavities within the block are precision machined to provide a perfect match to the tube shape and size of 0.5, 1.5, 2.0, 15 and 50ml tube sizes. This provides unsurpassed uniform transfer of heat from the heating elements to the blocks, which ensures that all the samples placed in the block are heated at the same uniform temperature, regardless of their positioning. There is an assorted range of blocks that may be purchased separately and, if required, custom blocks are also available on request.

Benchmark dry baths include a built in user recalibration future, which allows the unit to reset to factory settings and guarantees that temperature accuracy can be maintained over the full life of the unit. The dry bath is designed to facilitate the easy placement and extraction of tubes and each Benchmark dry bath includes a block lifter that is easy to use and that has an insulated handle, which allows for fast and convenient block exchanges, even when the blocks are still too hot to handle by hand.
