The high volume blood bank centrifuge Z 446 (non refrigerated) and Z 446 K (refrigerated) achieve a throughput with a RCF of 3434/4346 xg. The fixed-angle and swing-out rotors are suitable for almost all applications in components manufacturing, donor centers and reference laboratories. The Z 446 series may be used for various laboratory applications such as separating whole blood units or initial spinning down of patient samples. The 4 place rotors enable the technician to easily remove the 750 ml buckets from the rotor to enable the technician to process more units. The buckets may easily accommodate whole blood donor units with additional attached bags.
The blood bank centrifuge also has adapter option for micro titer carrier plates. Centrifuge can hold up to 4 micro titer plates or 384 wells at one time. Z 446 series centrifuges may process up to 80 collection tubes from patients.
