4mm hemostat slide clamp for to temporarily close tubing. Slide clamp easily attaches to outside of tubing without damaging tubing.

Hemostat clamps are used for safety closers. Safety closers are temporary. They prevent unnecessary contamination during the permeant sealing process. Damage may occur during the permeant sealing process that leaves the tubing open to contamination. Hemostat clamps prevent this protentional contamination.

Hemostat hose clamps may be used for infusion flow control.

Some donor blood bag units already have closed end slide clamps to prevent this. Using the open style slide clamp allow the processor to temporarily close any 4mm tubing.
