MTC bio manufactures their 15 mL, 30 mL, and 50 mL conical centrifuge tubes from premium polypropylene to ensure both clarity and high centrifugal strength. As a result, users can rely on these tubes for demanding laboratory applications. Additionally, you can freeze both the tubes and caps at temperatures as low as -86°C, which supports a wide range of storage needs.
The conical centrifuge tubes withstand varying maximum centrifugal forces depending on size and design. Specifically, the 15 mL tubes handle up to 12,000×g, while the 30 mL and 50 mL skirted tubes support up to 7,000×g. Meanwhile, the conical 50 mL tubes tolerate forces up to 15,000×g.
Moreover, we design the caps with a flat top surface, making marking and labeling quick and easy. In addition, models C2605 and C2630 include a skirted bottom, allowing the tubes to stand upright without a separate rack. At the same time, all tubes in the C2600 series—whether self-standing or not—provide leak-proof performance up to 95 kPa (14 psi).
Finally, for users handling large volumes, we offer non-sterile bulk options with separately packaged caps in both 15 mL (C2601-B) and 50 mL (C2603-B) sizes, thereby improving efficiency and convenience during high-throughput workflows.
